ISEE Registration and Scoring
It is important to know what will be on the ISEE test and how it is scored before you take it. There are three levels of the ISEE, so the first thing to do is register and prepare for the appropriate level. The Lower Level test is for students in 5th and 6th grade, the Middle Level is for 7th and 8th grade, and the Upper Level is for 9th grade and up.
The ISEE is scored by using four sections: Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Mathematics Achievement. There is also an essay portion of the test that is sent to the schools that a student applies to.

Many private schools will also take scores from the SSAT so be sure to do your research and register for the right tests for your child.
